Havana, Cuba (AFP) – Hurricane Oscar left six people dead after hitting Cuba over the weekend during a major power blackout, President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced on Monday.

The storm caused severe damage in the eastern province of Guantanamo, he said in televised remarks.
