Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | AFP – Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Tuesday told French President Emmanuel Macron that the world was facing growing “risks and challenges” as they met in Rio de Janeiro, Beijing’s state media said.

“In the past six months, the international situation has undergone many new changes, and various risks and challenges have continued to increase,” Xi told Macron as they met on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
