Storm Martinho has triggered severe flooding across Spain, forcing evacuations and emergency measures in several regions. In Mejorada del Campo, rising waters from the Jarama and Henares rivers led to the evacuation of 48 people. Authorities in Ávila declared a state of emergency as the Adaja and Chico rivers overflowed, while flooding from the Manzanares River disrupted roads in Madrid.

In Toledo, flood barriers were deployed around a hospital as the Tagus River continued to rise.
