ABBA is a Swedish pop music group formed in Stockholm in 1972, consisting of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The group gained international recognition after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song “Waterloo.” ABBA became one of the best-selling music acts in history, known for studio production techniques, melodic songwriting and global commercial success.
