Aerosols

Aerosols are tiny solid particles or liquid droplets suspended in the atmosphere. They originate from natural sources such as dust storms, sea spray, volcanic eruptions and wildfires, as well as from human activities including combustion processes and industrial emissions. Aerosols influence air quality, human health and climate by interacting with sunlight and clouds, either scattering or absorbing radiation and affecting cloud formation and precipitation patterns.
