Aid

Aid refers to financial, material or technical assistance provided by governments, international organizations or non-governmental entities to support populations affected by crises, disasters or economic hardship. It includes humanitarian aid in response to natural disasters and conflicts, as well as development aid aimed at long-term social and economic improvement.
