Batteries

Batteries are devices that store chemical energy and convert it into electrical energy through electrochemical reactions. They consist of one or more cells containing electrodes and an electrolyte that enables the flow of ions between terminals. Batteries are used in a wide range of applications, from portable electronics and electric vehicles to grid-scale energy storage, and their performance, lifespan and environmental impact depend on their chemical composition and design.
