Birds

Birds are a group of warm-blooded vertebrates characterized by feathers, beaks and the ability to lay eggs, with most species capable of flight. They occupy a wide range of habitats and play key roles in ecosystems through pollination, seed dispersal and pest control. Bird populations are widely used as indicators of environmental change, including habitat loss, climate shifts and pollution.
