Environmental issues refer to problems that arise from the interaction between human activities and the natural environment, affecting ecosystems, resources and human well-being. They include challenges such as pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, deforestation, land degradation and water scarcity. Environmental issues are examined in science, policy and public discourse in order to understand causes, impacts and potential responses.
