Lynx

Lynx are medium-sized wild cats belonging to the genus Lynx, found in forests and mountainous regions of Europe, Asia and North America. They are characterized by tufted ears, short tails and thick fur adapted to cold climates. Lynx are predators that play important roles in forest ecosystems and are studied in relation to wildlife conservation, habitat connectivity and predator–prey dynamics.
