Marine Ecology

Marine ecology is the study of interactions among organisms and their environments in oceans and other marine ecosystems. It examines how marine species, food webs, ocean chemistry and physical conditions influence ecosystem structure and biological productivity. Marine ecology is closely linked to climate change, ocean warming, acidification, pollution, overfishing and biodiversity conservation in marine environments.
