Nevada

Nevada is a state in the western United States bordered by Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona and California. Much of its territory lies within the Great Basin and is characterized by arid and semi-arid climates, desert landscapes, mountain ranges and limited surface water. Nevada is studied in relation to water resources, drought, wildfire risk, mineral extraction and renewable energy development, particularly solar and geothermal power.
