Pollinators

Pollinators are animals that transfer pollen from the anther, the male reproductive structure of a flower, to the stigma, the female receptive surface, enabling fertilization and the production of seeds and fruits. They include insects such as bees, butterflies, moths, beetles and flies, as well as certain birds and mammals. Pollinators are essential for the reproduction of many wild and cultivated plants and contribute to ecosystem stability and food production.
