Uganda

Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa bordered by South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It encompasses part of the Lake Victoria basin, the Albertine Rift, and the Rwenzori Mountains, making it one of Africa’s most biodiverse countries. Uganda is an important location for research on biodiversity, wildlife conservation, freshwater ecosystems, tropical ecology, public health, agriculture, climate change, and sustainable development.
