UN

United Nations (UN) is a global intergovernmental organization established in 1945 to promote international peace, security, cooperation, and development. It comprises six principal organs, specialized agencies, and related bodies, and includes 193 member states and two observers. The UN plays a central role in coordinating international action on issues such as human rights, humanitarian aid, and sustainable development.
