Water

Water is a chemical compound (H₂O) essential for all known forms of life. It exists naturally on Earth as a solid, liquid, and gas, and is the main component of oceans, rivers, lakes, glaciers, and the fluids of living organisms. Water circulates through the water cycle – evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and runoff – and serves as a solvent, supports ecosystems, and is vital for agriculture, industry, and human activities.
