Himalaya

The Himalaya, or Himalayas, is the world’s highest mountain system, stretching across South Asia between the Indian subcontinent and the Tibetan Plateau. It contains Mount Everest, more than 100 peaks above 7,200 metres, vast glaciers and forests that feed major rivers and support millions of people.
