Wind

Wind is the movement of air in the atmosphere caused by differences in air pressure. It ranges from small-scale local flows to large atmospheric circulation patterns and plays a central role in weather systems, heat distribution and ocean–atmosphere interactions. Wind also influences evaporation, erosion, wildfire spread and the development and intensity of storms.
