Water Resources

Water resources refer to sources of freshwater available for human use and ecosystem support, including rivers, lakes, groundwater, glaciers and reservoirs. Their availability depends on precipitation, climate patterns, storage capacity and management practices. Water resources are central to agriculture, industry, energy production and public health and are influenced by climate variability and environmental change.
